Cirrelda: I thought I had left a comment a couple of days ago, but I must have entered the wrong key. The Pathways mural is beautiful and colorful and I think I see the Sandhill Crane! That’s a lot of hours donated. I think also that there are budding artists among the volunteers. Do I also see a killdeer (sp.)?

Where precisely is this panel being constructed?

Just really fabulous what you do.

Your feedback means a lot. Yes tis a Killdeer. One of the volunteers is the Park Superintendent at the Rio Grande Nature Center State Park, Beth Dillingham. She says she has been seeing so many Killdeers since she started working on this panel! Well, 50 folks under 18 have contributed the plant and animal tiles, from their own drawings. And, it is being constructed at my studio, Pot Hollow South, in NW Burque.

Last comment for a while ! Up north we go today!

Where will the mural panels be installed?

    Hi Vanessa,
This panel will be installed at the west end of the south wall of the Placitas Recycling Center along Highway 165 just east of exit 242 on I-25.

I wrote another post about the community mosaic here on Color of Sand back in May I believe, so you can scroll back a few.
