September afternoon filling the bolt holes

After Peter got the 9 bolts installed, I placed all the mosaic over the bolts this afternoon. Bosque Habitat Mosaic, with 70 contributors to the making

I do like mosaic!

We discovered this end of Placitas Recycling Center wall had cement poured in all the cinder blocks - expansion bolts had to be abandoned.

I loved the poem, she is gifted like her mom.
Where are the mosaics locate in Placitas? I would like to see more of the work done and actually see it, I really like the detail that had to be put into it.

Travel up 165 only a little ways past I-25, Evangeline- it’s on the Placitas Recycling Center walls. They will have recycling hours today til noon – so very crowded. Tomorrow morning we’ll be there from 8-noon grouting it – please come by if you aren’t busy.

Cirrelda: How did you finally hang the mural without the expansion bolts. It’s really beautiful. I’ve got the check here to send to the wildlife corridor association. I’ve been bogged down…really so since Hermine swept through Texas. Haven’t been through but three of those in my lifetime. Not cleanup, but it knocked out communications and flooded Brenda’s campus in Fort Worth.

I know you are busy too with school beginning.
