Gratitude Award Tiles for New Mexico Literary Arts

It’s my 6th year to make these award tiles. I love doing them. Grateful that NMLA hires me!

They’re quite wonderful! That’s such a nice idea, and such a compliment that you’ve been chosen for the work: not once, but many times.

I hope all’s well there. We’re still quite warm tonight — bare feet and open windows — but tomorrow our first “real” front of the year will arrive. I’ve been watching migrating flocks come in for the past week. There’s little question what’s happening when the grebes, white pelicans, goldfinch and assorted ducks show up.

Great to hear from the delta of the Rio. We too have been ultra-warm for here – no real hard freeze in the mid-Rio Grande Valley. Heard that the front dropping down won’t come far enough west for us.
We have had some Lesser Goldfinches eating Maximillian Sunflower seeds, and the Sandhill Cranes and Crows are back.
