C.C.: Are you constructing a mural now?

C.C.: What I meant to say in my last comment was: Are you supervising the construction of the mural you wrote about or are you doing one alone?

Cirrelda: Do you fire these tiles in bulk or just a few at a time?

      Hi Jack,
A few at a time. And these days with my Museum teaching job, I am grateful for my tile work as a relaxing and enjoyable contrast, though my time is much more limited.
I have a small electric kiln that accomodates up to 5 shelves, so I can fire about 25 tiles at a time for the non-stackable glaze firing. (When bisque-firing, you can stack the greenware, especially when it’s nice and flat in tile form, so that amount of space could handle many more than 25 tiles.)
So sorry I never replied to your above questions – I think it was at at time when I was very busy – with mural and everything else.
      Thanks for your interest.

Nice work, are they displayed anywhere I can view them?

      Thank you!
No, I don’t have them at a gallery, and we don’t participate in studio tour anymore. I occasionally do fairs – and next one will be Celebrate the Earth Fest, Sunday April 17 in Nob Hill behind Coop. I also have my Etsy shop – , though many of these are not listed there. My showing on Etsy is very basic these days.

      Hello again, E.,
I am happy to report, that as of December, 2011, my tiles can be viewed at the Weyrich Galerie on Louisiana and Candelaria in Albuquerque.
